Name: Shoko Wadogokunotokonoko 'Korban
Alias:
Gender: Male
Age: 12
Race: Of the Kebanggaanshuudoushi
Sexuality: Undetermined, but with a healthy interest in females.
Marital Status: Single.
Religion: Feriana: Kebanggaanshuudoushi Monk faith.
Origin: City of Kebanggaan
Current Residence: With Roarin Sidd.
Occupation: Busboy, cleaner and healer.
Height: 4'9''.
Weight: 98 pounds.
Body Type: Slim and fit, but hardly able to hold his own physically in any type of highly physical fight. Relies on precision and quick wits to fight.
Skin: Pale since his arrival to Nillea, but tans easily and well, common of his people. Lightly freckled on his face and across his nose.
Eyes: Brown, wide and generally is described as too thoughtful for one so young.
Hair: Short, but unkempt and growing steadily.
Physical Description: Of average body for a child in Nillea, Shoko also has a higher-than-average level of restraint and discipline when it comes to laziness and exercise, respectively, and insists on maintaining a perfect equilibrium of his muscular structure. Medical alchemists that have seen him predict he is mostly muscle, with only 1.5 to 2 percent body fat.
Voice: High pitched, but usually whisper quiet.
Personality: Reserved and seen as easy-to-push around by his compatriots, Shoko is actually highly inquisitive and curious. Rather than seeing extra labor as arduous, he sees it as expanding his physical knowledge. He is a rapid learner, and already knows close to what the best of Roarin's band do about the design of their equipment.
Likes: Peace. He can find solace in nearly any situation, attuning his body and mind to his natural surroundings. He enjoys reading, and is startlingly adept at learning new languages, which he adores to no end. He enjoys even more his studies into the magicks, which puts him into a unique niche among Roarin's team. He prefers fruits and vegetables to meats. Much to the amusement of the rest of the team, he has a puppydog's attraction to Roarin, whom protected him during his moment of weakness. He is also a natural biologist, entomologist, and botanist. He has pored over many texts, gleaning knowledge from several universes.
Dislikes: Negative emotions. His clan was stoic, serene, and oftentimes he is as well. This stands as a stark contrast to the conflicted land of Nillea, as well as Roarin's crew. He often acts as a mediator between heated arguments and receives the brunt of the blame in many situations for merely desiring to allow the instigators a moment to see themselves in their opponent's eyes.
Fears:He is terrified of blackness. Not the dark of the night, the natural cycle, but something unknown to mortals and beyond much of Nillea's comprehension.
Family:His father and grandfather, Retshoko Wadogokunotokokoro 'Korban and Haishoko Radogokunoto 'Korban
History: In the year 6523 Bushingoidaffa (Peace Era) Shoko Wadogokunotokonoko 'Korban was born. His father decided not to alter his Monk name, Wadogokunotokonoko, beyond a single syllable, which altered his name from "Reserved Mind and Brave Heart" to "Brave Mind and Reserved Heart." His grandfather, while initially disapproving of the lack of change in his Monk name, agreed and gave his Christening Sermon a week later, late for a newborn. Shoko grew quickly, showing a keen intellect and distinct adeptness at any endeavor he engaged in. His years in Wadogokun 'Korbanto's Academy were spent at the highest level. Had he been of lower status, his abilities would be seen as insolence and he would have be lowered on purpose to stunt his mental, social and Magickal education. However, his father and grandfather came from a prestigious line of Monks, and they too sat tall at the city Wadogokun 'Korbanto, their city. Retshoko, his grandfather, was in fact the Head Monk, and his son, Shoko's father, was set to take his place in the coming centuries.
Shoko, at age seven, passed the peak of the abilities physically, mentally and magickally of anyone in the next five class levels above him. This had beaten his father's Scholarly Record, and made his grandfather's look like a joke. Both were incredibly proud, but were incredibly strict with him. Emotionally, the boy had little to shelter him. He was constantly broken down by instructors, and showered in light praise by his patriarchs. His patriarchs were stone walls, only granting him solace at the greatest achievements. His mother, having died to something dark and mysterious to all but the greatest of the Battle Monks, could nurture him none. He could only have comfort in himself, and he was not equipped for emotional solitude.
At his ninth birthday, he graduated the fifteen levels required to pass into the Bijuarmo academy, the home of the Battle Monks. Most students were granted a chance at this near their late teens. He was an anomaly, and his lack of physical strength compared to those so well-aged beyond him made him a target. He performed better on the test-field than anyone, and was labeled a freak. That was when he started to stunt himself. Hiding his true power allowed him the peace he needed, even if he only finished second or third. But some of his attackers would not relent.
They beat him mercilessly, without warning or provocation and usually for abstract reasons. Shoko was able to put up with this for two years. Then he, like all strings with too much pressure applied, snapped. Killing his two bullying classmates in an accidental rage, he exiled himself from class and waited for judgement from his patriarchs, whom were out hunting the terrible threat that slew his mother.
A year later, the threat that killed his mother was slain at the cost of his grandfather and father. The warp they produced and the beast they fought left behind ravaged most of the world around him, and he survived by unknown means to wind up cold, rain-slicked and frightened by the new world around him. His arm was broken, he was starving and all of his muscles were sprained.
Roarin would find him days later, and augment the poor boy to her team.
Allegiance: Roarin's crew.
Weapons: Staves, and martial skills.
Magick: Incredibly latent in majick abilities, though he suppresses it the vast majority of the time.
Strengths: His intelligence can get him in and out of a situation: his majicks will keep him alive throughout.
Weaknesses: His body is still weak compared to the monsters out there, and his strong emotional attachments and sense of mercy can be taken advantage of.
Extra Information: Very ticklish and nap-prone.
